  • Our members have discovered that anyone can do short term missions.

  • While we provide medical care to local residents, you don't have to  be medically trained or speak another language to take part.  Everyone has a job.

  • The requirements are few: a willing heart and an open mind.

  • Be prepared to meet new people, enlarge your world, have incredible fellowship and just plain fun.

You can help support HHI by praying, giving, and going.

Pray.  It takes an army to make the mission successful:

  • the people we serve.  Everyone has a reason for visiting our clinics.  Pray that the Lord clears a path to enable as many as possible hear about His word.

  • the translators.  Native Guatemalans join us by volunteering their time.  Many come from affluent families and have never traveled to the areas where we are working.

  • the local pastors. They enable us to have access to their  communities and provide follow-up.

  • our members.  HHI wouldn't be able to complete its mission if it were not for those willing to spend 10 days serving others.
